While somewhat unconventional in approach, this web-based curriculum vitae is, in actuality, the perfect mechanism to present a diverse background such as Audre's. Unlike the static, paper media C.V. commonly used, this menu-driven web-site-based format makes it possible to present a remarkable amount of information in a logical and concise way.

Additionally, the Search and Site Map functions permit relevant information to be located swiftly, without need to manually wade through pages of written text as one would with the traditionally presented — and somewhat old-fashioned — hard-copy format used by the less web-savvy.

Not quite sure what a curriculum vitae is, or how it differs from a resume? The following definitions might be of use:

"Curriculum Vitae," "Vita," "Vitae," "CV," "C.V.," and "c.v." are all basically interchangeable as terms, and simply mean a comprehensive representation in outline form of your education, professional history, accolades, interests, and other relevant information. A vita is generally created for presentation to a prospective employer, or for a special circumstance, such as an award or promotion, for example. There are no length requirements or limits for a vita.

A "résumé," or "resume," is a highly abbreviated version of the vita, a summary, and is usually only a single page in length. Early in a career, a vita and a résumé can often be the same thing because the volume or length of entries is not yet a real factor. As a career gets going, however, it is reasonable to think that the vita will expand.
